ABOUT ME

i am a bit over 30 year old (or should i say young) dude from the capital of finland.
i like punk rock music, tattoos, beer and books.
and on the other side, i also like to stay in shape so i go to the gym, jog, roller skate etc.
i am open minded and get along with almost everybody.
the summer in finland is relatively short so i try to get the most out of it.
i read in my hammock, hang out in the park or visit my family in the countryside.

well, what else... feel free to ask.
i am happy to give a tour of helsinki to my guests.
or at least a tour of the cheap bars at the bohemian neighbourhood of town.

PHILOSOPHY

i try to collect as many saunas as i can. i even made a list of all the saunas that i have been in my life. the current count is 203. maybe i should travel on finland to increase the number of saunas...

totally new thing for me. no, wait, a couple of years ago i offered my couch to a canadian couple. and it was very nice to help out travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

punk, rock, metal, everything goes as long as it is groovy. the mars volta, the national, mastodon, kvelertak, pelican among other and of course a number of great finnish bands.

dostojevski is great too. as well as good old willias s. burroughs. and these finnish guys.

i don't watch too many movies. trainspotting and fear and loathing in las vegas every once in a while. and from tv series at least breaking bad and house. oz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

primavera sound festival at barcelona was quite awesome. as was the reading festival in england.
it was also great to drink beer at 4 am in lappland northern finland in the middle of the summer as the sun won't go down at all.
