Our current mission is to explore the world for the first time together... mix typical tourist with what a place is really about... and see amazing things! basically to get out of Australia =)

ABOUT ME

We if you haven't figured out there's two of us!
...Karolina (the blondie) and Vesna (the brunette)...
We are twin cousins :P as we'd like to say! We were born one day apart..

vese: Grew up with 4 sisters and a brother. My parents for most of my life lived on the opposite sides of the world though my dad comes home 3 or 4 times a year when he can. We have all been scattered around the world at any one point in time and this new year 2009 will be the first time we are all together in 3 years. My family sent me to Croatia to live for a year to learn the language (dad is croatian mum is croatian bosnian) and also secretly to distance me from my ex boyfriend lol though i am grateful because it has been an invaluable experience! :)

We are both living at home with family.. so we're not able to offer a couch..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had our first and so far only experience in Rome, where we stayed with the best host ever... Giulio Potena. For a first experience he definitely made a good impression and we would like to thank he greatly for offering us more then we even asked for!

lOL.. where to begin...
i'll just say we're not your average young girls...
tend to be interested in random, lets just say DIFFERENT things... i'll let this section for vesna to fill out.. haha
lol ok.. well my interests are: learning- i want to learn knitting, sewing, how to maintain a vegetable garden, arabic, capoiera, pottery, singing, web design, massage, herbal medicine, reflexology, psychology, photography, belly dancing, cooking ...
I'm currently studying psychology and arabic at university and i also love to write and read!
I do like nice things in terms of cars, clothes, jewllery but i prefer to feel good than to look good and i have a shopping phobia (i really dislike it) though karolina is the complete opposite and loves a good day shopping.

Music: house, rnb, trance... a bit of everything.. even croatian =)

Books: I (Karolina) love biography's).. vesna... thinks theres too many books too little time!
currently reading: the bell jar, consoloations of philiosophy and jungle capitalists

Movies: P.S I love you, The Notebook, Taken.. I cant really think of many at the moment..
vese: depends on the mood though i can't stand horror movies!
