About Me

TRAVELING AT THE MOMENT

I am a person, I love gazing into the world, I love interacting with people, I love exploring myself through the exploration of others and their environments. I work as an architect in Sofia, since transformation of one's environment fascinates me. I see myself as quite open minded, and ever hungry to learn more about different cultures, philosophies, places, jobs, situations...EVERYTHING

SECRET QUESTION IN "MY HOME" SECTION

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. I love to explore new place, meet new people and experience new realities
2. I love the city and country I live in and am extremely happy every time I get a chance to share it with new people

Interests

Surprisingly I am interested in architecture, especially the traditional architecture of the Balkans and Scandinavia, along with energy effective solutions. I also like working with people, and through the process learning more about myself.
I am interested in psychology, political sciences and the formation of society and it's mechanisms. I am also interested in history; and different cultures.
I love hiking the mountains, and hitchiking the roads, thoughtful conversations, helping people, drawing, cooking and the occasional strategic board or computer game.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS:
I think I read too much to have favorites but I definately like Dostoevsky and 19th century literature. I like Ivailo Petrov, Radoi Ralin, Aleko Konstantinov and some less known Bulgarian writers. I also read a lot of psychological and political theory (currently reading a collection of lectures by Michel Foucault, Crack Capitalism by John Holloway and A history of the englishspeaking peoples by Winston Chirchill, I am weird I read a lot of books at once).
I also enjoy some fantasy and sci fi novels.

MOVIES:
I am very picky about movies, as I grade them on matter of execution rather than overall message. I like Dark City, most films by Emir Kosturica, Spun, and many others

MUSIC:
I enjoy different music regarding on my mood; but generally I like classic rock. Some of my favorite music comes from The Doors, Donovan and the Grateful Dead. I also listen to a lot of jazz, reggae, punk, ska and folk music from different parts of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to say; but working with children from a local orphanage has truly changed my life in an amazing way
