ABOUT ME

I always feel the thrill before setting off to a new place. I love meeting people, talking to them, listening to they stories, experiencing their talents and skills, observing 'street life'. I'm curious but not nosy! :) I also enjoy some quiet time on my own. I'm currently rediscovering the beauty of travelling alone.

PHILOSOPHY

Accept the things I can not change. Change the things I can, and recognize the difference between the two.
Simple but still very powerful approach to life that grants respect for oneself and for other people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my husband in Scotland, in a tiny and beautiful town South Queensferry, 20 min away (by train) from Edinburgh Centre. We can host you, offer hot beverage or invite to share a drink, or a meal if we cook that day. We can give you some practical tips to move around, use public transport, etc. Happy to exchange stories, get to know you, or just leave you alone if that's what you need at a moment :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

some and all very positive! I used CS in Bulgaria, Berlin and Poland.
Plus I love the idea itself!

Intereses

I'm passionate about Tarot - the art, the story, the mystery. But I'm also very 'rational' as an academic and researcher. I guess this is called balance ;)
Love yoga, hiking, walks, wild swimming, being in the nature.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Just two weeks after moving from Poland to a small town in the UK, I managed to organize a protest in response to Polish government's plans to ban abortion. I knew no one in the town but I knew there were Polish people living around. With the help of my husband we produced and hung up posters around the town and used social media to spread the word. About 50 people came to support the protest. I was pretty f**king proud of myself!
