Overview
About Me
Hello lovely people on couchsurfing ! My name is Miroslav and I am currently residing in the Netherlands. I am energetic, friendly and hardworking . I'd love to exchange some exciting insights about new ways of civic economy, social activism or data analysis.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ever since a good friend of mine told me about his journeys and how amazing it is to be hosted by local residents, I realized that there isn't any better way to explore a place than spending valuable time with locals. As a matter of fact, I'd love to live a place, even for a while, rather than merely consuming it as an all-inclusive tourist. Moreover, I believe couch surfing is an excellent platform for people to learn about each other's places, culture, interests and passions. That's why I think I can gain some extra value on my leisure thorough this cultural exchange.
Interests
I have a strong interest in urbanism which derives mainly from my studies. Furthermore, I enjoy doing sports such as jiu-jitsu, calisthenics or fitness. Besides, I also like to spend time in a relaxing company over dinner or drinks. One of my hobbies I am recently devoted to is taking care of a tropical aquarium.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to swing my body under the sound of progressive house, pop, soul, indie, folk and many other creative combinations of styles which are not easily defined. Should there be a popular genre where you live, do please share this music style with me.
Some of my favorite movies and TV-shows are Start Wars, Game of Thrones, The Matrix, A Beautiful Mind, Friends, Alf and Stranger Things.
I like reading non-fiction on various socioeconomic topics. Some of the titles I recommend are "Why Nations Fail", "The Tipping Point" , "Blink" , "Debt" and "The Upside of Irrationality" to name a few. Although not that often, I do read fiction books, too. Some of my favorite authors are Kader Abdolah, Harper Lee, Aldous Huxley and Aleko Konstantinov.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I plunged into the ice-cold waters of the North Sea on 1 January 2011. This ritual was part of an annual Dutch tradition performed on New Year's Day.
I went wild camping on a beach in the summer of 2014 on the northern Black Sea coast.
