About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The most important thing to me is to smile at least once a day. Smile is contagious, it makes you feel happy even if you're sad and more, it can make someone's day much better. It's free, easy and miraculous!

ABOUT ME

All about me...you could have to sit there for a couple of hours!
I'm a foreing language assistant. I teach french. There are big debates here in Quebec regarding the importance of french. My opinion is that fench is a pretty nice and rich language that we must keep. Our french is very different than international french and that makes it even more special to me. It's an honnor to me to have the opportunity to teach it to other people.
Traveling as been a big dream to me for a long time, but from now on, my adventure starts. I wish to meet a lot of great people, live present time, discover different culture, enjoy all the beautiful place of our planet, learn about me and others, relax and grow up!
Finally (to make it short),I like to have great time with friends, eat and drink good beer or wine, sing (even if you won't like it for sure;)), drive my car on a nowhere, read anykind of book, have a long hot shower on a cold day of winter.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing Ventured, nothing gained. It perhaps sounds a bit cliche but I strongly hang on this proverb. If you don't try, ask, dare ... you'll never know and you'll never get what you want/need

Trust yourself and never lose contact with who you are! It's the most important thing if you want to keep smiling and fully live your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and Host and I love it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

LOVELY!

Interests

HEALTH, human body, food/cooking, people in general, tea, languages, music (does somebody hate music?!), and the list goes on

Hiking/trekking (There're nice mountains in NI, not that high, but the sight is breath-taking)

I LOVE dancing and I've done a lot of all type: contemporary, jazz, african, classical ballet, tap dance, modern, salsa. Obviously, as a kinesiologist, everything that make me move is perfect for me.
Sports (any) even if I'm not good at it

Talk, talk, talk (probably a girl's thing ... but I can talk about anything from shampoo to cars passing by arts and world issues)

Learn, learn, learn!

Laugh until my stomach hurts (If the embalmer has to iron my face the day I die, I'll be grateful because it means I'll have laughed badly in my life)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: have a little preference for old rock and Quebec artists but I'm an open minded person and I like almost any kind of music except Hard metal

Movies: The note book is without any doubt my favorite love movie, I also like foreing movies, drama and action (please, no horror or ghost's movies, I won't sleep for at least a month)

Books : As long as there's words written on the pages, I'll open it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done skydiving ... this floating-but-falling feeling is simply undescribable

I left my native country and moved oversea far from friends and family

I've learned from my mistakes (and still do!)!

I've once fell deeply, truly in love :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Every single person you meet in your life have something to share with you consciously or not. And the best thing is that you can learn from all of them. Sometimes, it will change your whole life. Sometimes, it will change your day. And some other times you'll understand days or years later. But if you open your mind, you'll get it and it will definitely make a difference, small or big!

So what I have to say is : Open your mind, open your hearth and be ready to grow up!!
