About Me

CURRENT MISSION

whatever life brings :)

ABOUT ME

As time passes by I realize I am too young and that I can learn many things about the world and its nature, peoples and cultures. Not only about the world but from the world itself. I can learn not only by sharing information with people but just by observing how people and every kind of being behave. I'm a sensitive soul. I feel good when I can chill, daydream, listen to music and do things on my time. No pressure. :) I guess I'm a little bit shy and serious when I first meet someone, but I can offer great conversations. I can be really funny sometimes. :) I appreciate kindness and I try to help whoever when it's possible. Ah, I'm a biomedical scientist. And no, I won't talk about diseases all the time. Don't worry! I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but I moved to San Diego, USA in 2014. That's all I have to say. Hope that we can meet someday. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"The unfamiliar is right below our eyes. Don't look for what we know."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host whenever I'm available! :)
Unfortunately, studies and work take a lot of my time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My father, my brother and my sister are also couchsurfers, and we have hosted more than 15 people in Brazil since we joined the community! We had only good times with our guests. I've traveled alone to some countries in Europe and I had my first experiences as a guest in Budapest and in Krakow and I enjoyed it very much! I also exchanged sofas with some of my European guests/friends who were in Rio. Then I went to Europe and they became my hosts! Since I'm not living in Rio anymore, I should say that if you want to come to San Diego, don't hesitate to contact me. I would be glad to receive your message, and maybe you as my guest!
However, if you want to travel to Brazil, especially to Rio de Janeiro, you should contact my family.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes! I really like listening to music: ambient, downtempo, chill out, electronica, trip hop, hip hop, nu jazz, jazz, Brazilian, classical, rock, Balkan...And anything with good percussion/beats. Movies and books are also great art types (there're many that I like).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really enjoyed going to see the sunset in El Bolsón, Argentina. I loved a small village named Cabo Polonio, on the seashore of Uruguay, where all things are awesome. I experienced an authentic and special Scandinavian Christmas celebration in Denmark. I saw my plane from Madrid to Rio de Janeiro fly over Morocco and I could see Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains from the window. The view is so astonishing that I cried. I was emotionally touched. Incredible! I have driven along the Highway 1 in California, USA. What an astonishing view! I saw my plane fly over the Andes Mountains in Peru. I've also visited Machupicchu which is one of the most marvellous sites I've ever seen in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Portuguese. The point is that I think I can learn things even if you don't teach me, directly. I'm sure we can share, learn and teach just being ourselves.

Unfortunately, I can't teach you how to dance samba because I don't know how to do it. It's incredibly hard, believe me!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Slovakia, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay
