ABOUT ME

Officially, I am a PhD student Astronomy in Leiden, The Netherlands. At the moment I am in Melbourne to finish my PhD at Monash, and I hope to enjoy the life down under a bit while doing it.

Leiden is where I studied physics - it left me with a lot of friends. Originally I grew up in The Hague.

For my PhD I can travel bit, and I greatly embrace those opportunities to see the world. I love to do new things.

I like to meet new people, have good conversations and go out. Usually I get along with almost anyone as I'm pretty adaptable.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I like most kinds of music, I mostly listen to Dance and Rock music like 3 Doors Down, Kaiser Chiefs, Golden Earring, Daft Punk, Justice...

I watch a lot of movies. Usually I have seen the big Hollywood releases, but lately I have had less time to keep up.

Books are something I don't get into enough. Also something I should change...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing a skydive this May is the first thing that comes to mind...
