Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Gardening.
ABOUT ME
Ouèle.
Things I am rather fond of :
My morning (or afternoon) tea (or coffee) while reading the newspaper. A cold beer on a sunny (or rainy) day. Films, I love films. Driving and Dylan. The wisdom of our elders. Reading a used book. Dancing. L'Acadie. Bonfires. Singalongs. Camping. Hiking. Cycling. Artichokes and mangoes.
As for "all about me", this pretty much sums it :
I enjoy sleeping late, but love the early morning mist and I quite enjoy cooking, a glass of wine in hand.
PHILOSOPHY
Dance. Create. Believe in yourself. Show what you've got. Start immediately. Begin. Do it. Start a fire. Make something. Laugh. Appreciate. Run. Yell. Sing in the shower. Smile. Eat chocolate. Say thank you. Open doors for people. Smile. Read. Dare. Risk. Breathe deeply. Think. Dream. Go swimming. Believe. Have a snowball fight. Make a snow woman. Run in the rain naked. Go outside. Listen. Give. Smell the perfume of a flower. Go somewhere. Travel. Be passionate. Play an instrument. Make noise. Be proud. Close your eyes. Go to a market. Reflect. Cook. Go to museums. Ask questions. Start a conversation. Slow down. Sit down. Be. Cry. Go hiking. Go to concerts. Try. Volunteer. Learn. Help. Support. Make changes. Make eye contact. Learn another language. Take pictures. Treat yourself. Wake up for a sunrise. Fall in love. And then fall in love all over again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I strongly believe in karma. Passing it forward. Becoming the change I want to see in the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed my first couch in Paris in 2005, and I was instantly drawn to the spirit of CouchSurfing. Since, I've surfed couches, floors and campervans and I've hosted amazing people from all over the world. I've met lifelong friends and I have yet to meet some more!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
I listen to music pretty much all day, every day. Music makes me a happy girl. Way too many to list, I got pretty eclectic taste in music and it's always changing. Bring some with you. Chances are I wanna hear it!
MOVIES:
From Lynch to Jeunet. And everything in between.
BOOKS:
Amin Maalouf, Dany Laferriere, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Rohinton Mistry, Yasmina Khadra, Isabel Allende, Khaled Hosseini, Camus, Marie Laberge, Kerouac. For the sake of naming only but a few of the many authors that have shaped my life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had the incredible opportunity to live in Cuba and share my daily life with cubans for 8 months. Definitely a lifechanging experience.
I have seen the power of abundance and the intensity of privation.
I have loved, lost and lived.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share some vegetables from my garden, some vegetarian recipes/cooking, some Poi tricks, fimo jewelery making, music, I can teach you some french and spanish, and maybe a few salsa steps if you're lucky.
I want to learn the ins and outs of carpentry, mechanics, gardening. I want to learn songs on the harmonica, and I want to learn more languages, any.
