About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep traveling through others when we have to stay home!
ABOUT ME
Laura and Ben got married about three years ago. We've traveled all around Latin America together. Laura's a high school English teacher at an Atlanta public school, while Ben is working on a Ph.D. in Religion.
Laura speaks a little Spanish. Ben speaks Spanish fairly fluently - but that's it as far as languages go. We're pretty low key, but like to go out for beers, coffee, and generally show people around. Oh, Ben is also a huge Battlestar Galactic fan, but is hopefully not quite as geeky as that makes him sound. Laura is much cooler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ben has climbed Cotopaxi volcano in Ecuador. Laura learned to ski in South America. Ben taught her, and it didn't ruin the relationship like everyone said it would.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ben studies American religious history and American religious cultures - or will in Sept. 2007, when he starts he Ph.D. at Emory, in Atlanta. He has also worked as a freelance writer, publishing mainly in major American newspapers.
Laura has read lots of American Literature. She's also an avid reader of the Atlanta paper, so she's got local knowledge.
