ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's Vicente. I'm a 34 years old boy! I'm living in Barcelona but I'm from Seville. I am a Chemical Engineer and I am working in an chemical company.

I consider myself a loyal, fun, responsable and friendly person. I love learning languages, and every time I'm learning something new, no matters how or where. Indeed, I just discovered my favourite sentence in English watching a film. "Silver Linings Playbook" The silver linings has such a beautiful meaning that I try to use it always in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be sad for a long time, at the end, everything has the importance you want to think it has, and just a very few things are really important in life. The silver linings!!! :)

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

In 2012 I decided to change my life a little more. I was new in Barcelona, and my best friend had told me about this website.

I decided it was time to start travelling (something I love, my lovest passion), meeting some new and kind people and why not? improve my French.

I stopped using Couchsurfing for 7 years but now I am back to offer my home to travellers and to know new kind people that can host me when I am travelling.

Interesses

I'm interested in travelling, visiting different places , learning about them and meeting new people. I like swimming and bike. I like going to the cinema too.

My degree is one of my passions as well.

I have to say that I love cooking! (and eating haha). So if you choose me as your host, be prepared for some spanish food! I can cook abroad too, warning for people who host me haha, it's better if you like spanish omelete ;)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: Bon Jovi, The Beatles. But my favourite song is "Build me up Buttercup". A very good friend of mine (my first surfer) told me the kind of music I like is called motown!

I also enjoy listening to OST.

Movies: I like Tarantino and Night Shyamalan. However, when I don't know what to watch, I know that a horror film will never disappoint me!

Talking about books I have to say I've read almost the complete collection of Agatha Christie's books, so you can imagine the genre I like. But right now I'm reading GoT collection.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Well... I got my driving license when I was 20 but I never drove. To join my current job in 2019, I had to buy my first car. Before accepting the position, I went to Iceland (January) to think about what to do, buying a car or refuse the job?

I drove for hours in Iceland, on my own, in winter and it was the best experience I had (terrifying sometimes) but geat!

After that I bought a car becuase if I survived driving in Iceland, it would be a piece of cake in Barcelona :D

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

In our flat we love cooking. We do great suppers! always Spanish meal! Having dinner all together it's the best way of meeting us and showing you a lot about our gastronomy and our culture. And you can take the chance to teach us about you and you culture too!! ^^
