From the desert, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I live and work in the Central Phoenix part of Arizona. I am a family guy and have 2 girls, 14 and 20, from 2 different marriages. I'm currently divorced and have my youngest daughter part time. I started traveling when I was 19 and I just wanted to go as far away from home to see what out there, so I went to Florida. I've always wanted to see the world since I was a kid. Now I've made trips to over half the states in my country and now traveling the globe after my last divorce.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I'm getting older I'm realizing there is so much that I've learned in life but there's so much still out there. There are so many things about this venture that would be awesome and would love the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very open to music as long as it gives me a good feeling. As for movies I like action and adventure first, I enjoy comedy and a good laugh but also really get into kid and family movies a bit. I love good commercials though. I like to read the newspaper.

I'm raising a couple great kids and I have to say that has been pretty amazing.

I'm a big believer in learning from experience. I've worked in community events often providing haircuts for the homeless, makeovers for those seeking new jobs and similar events.
