I am an Ecuadorian student. I formerly lived in the UK (Manchester) for around 4 years while doing my 've spent a year in my home country Ecuador and now I am setting off to my masters in Singapore.

I am a Mechatronics engineer, and although I am good at that, my true passion is literature. I am an avid reader, more than anything I enjoy classic literature. Mainly I am keen on Latin American literature. However, I have set my self to enjoy the great classics from throughout the world: Tolstoy, Wilde, Turgenev, etc. I have also set my self to read at leas one great book/author from every one of the 18 countries I have been to. Thus, I really enjoy having literary conversations and getting to know what people's opinions are. I also write since a young age, I enjoy wirting poetry and this last years I have started writing short stories about my trips and the people I meet, that I hope one day I'll get to publish

I also play the guitar since I was a teenager, I used to perform in open mic nights in MCR when I had time from Uni. I play(good) and sing(badly) in English and Spanish. I also love to jam with people during my trips.

I am a very easygoing person, with which you can have interesting chats if you prefer or just chill in silence if that's your cup of tea. I like to get to know the way that people live in the places I visit and internalise their life experience more than just go touristing. I am always up for a coffee and a chat and for a pint if it's the right time.

I am pretty good salsa/merengue/bachata/cumbia dancer so if you like to dance or want to learn some moves I'm more than happy to dance with you.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although I have been in couch surfing for quite some time now, I mostly have travelled using hostels. Lately, I have had the feeling that I want to connect more with people and share experiences during my adventures while saving a bit of money. Therefore, I am starting to try and make the best of this.
