About Me

I'm an chilean economist who got tired of working and decided to travel around europe for a year. I'm really interested in art, I do paintings, walk around cities and meet new people and experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I've never tried couchsurfing before but I think is a good idea to stay with a local so you can have a first hand look on how is the real life in each city. I love to stay at hostels to and I have the money to do that, so this not a matter of money, rather a search for more opportunities to know more about the cities that I'll visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of music depending on my mood, but the genre that I love the most is the grunge, you know, pearl jam, alice in chains, nirvana, soundgarden, etc. About movies, I like those deep psycological dramas like 21 grams, memento, inception, but I also a funny movie once in a while like the adam sandler's movies. It's been a while since I don't reed but I like fast novels full of suspense. The last things that I read was the game of thrones books, and when I was younger I read harry potter, dan brown novels, and other stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went backpaking to patagonia, at the south of my country (chile), with some friends and asking for rides at the roads (hitchhicking). It was an amazing experience for many reasons. We met a lot of cool and different people, at the campings, at roadstops and between the drivers that took us. We also saw incredible landscapes, glaciers, rivers, waterfalls and lakes. We also slept on an abandoned bus one night, which was really fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really understand this part, but can say that I like to teach and learn new things. Now I'm learning french and I would like to learn moer about paintings, about how to make them and about art history, cause is one of my passions. And like this, I would love to teach some things that I know, about art, music or even economics if some cares about that XD.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share experience, languages, and of course a good conversation with a beer, I buy the beers ;)
