My name is Viktoria. I am 21. I like analogue photography, wine, poems, adventures and ravens (okay, I love much more things but I am too lazy to write about all of them). Most of the time I feel like I was born in the wrong century. I am lost trying to get found in an ocean of people. I am currently trying to learn how to get out of my comfort zone, it basically means that I am learning how to "live" (because I didn´t feel alive before.) My friends think that I am funny (sometimes) and kind person. I think that I am calm, easygoing and open-minded human being. I love traveling, long walks in the forests and empty streets. I like meeting new people with interesting stories all over the world, I also like to listen about others adventures,experiences and life philosophies because it is huge inspiration for me. All I need to be happy is freedom, my backpack, grey hat, diary, sketchbook and my yellow analogue camera, it somehow became a part of me (you will see).I really like giving of small, useless (but personal) gifts, photos or drawings to people, who are somehow interesting for me. It is actually really hard for me to describe myself in few sentences, so maybe I will tell you more face to face. We will see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing your couch and meeting people all around the world. As I said, I am trying to go out of my comfort zone it means that I want to travel as much as possible, explore the world as much as possible, meet as much new people from different countries and cultures as possible, to hear as much inspiring "life stories" as possible, because everyone has something new to teach us.

As much as i heard, this is the best and most interesting way to explore the world and meet new people of similar interests - travelers, wanderers and dreamers.

I currently live with my parents so I can not host you, but if you are gonna visit my city , write me and we can hang out , I can show you some of my favorite places, I am sure that we will have fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is impossible for me to say which is my favorite music, because in general I like a lot of genres, depending of my mood. But okay, let´s say that I listen to indie and folk music the most. I also really like rock music, especially alternative rock and rock ballads. But I am really open to each kind of music, I like to explore new genres, bands and artists and I also really love to share my favorites.
Some of my favorite bands or artists: Pink Floyd, Band of Horses, Cigarettes After Sex, Smashing Pumpkins, The Fray, Kodaline, Of Monsters and Man, Angus &Julia Stone, Bon Iver, Mumford & Sons, The Neighbourhood, The National, Cage the Elephant, Twenty one Pilots, Oasis, Pearl Jam .. (okay, I wanted to write only my favorites, but I realized that I love thousands different bands and artists and it is really impossible to choose only some of them, so maybe we can share it later)

When I was younger, I used to read a lot but now I don´t read books that much unfortunately. But my favorites are poems and short stories with some deep meaning. And of course, quotes from books, i love to read them the most. I also wrote my own book, but I did not publish it yet (but let´s be optimistic,maybe one day..)

I like movies but I prefer TV series, movies are too short for me. But I really like documentary, biographical and historical movies (and sometimes, I like to cry, so I watch that mainstream Hollywood romantic movies).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you languages I know, something about analogue photography and drawing. I can also teach you to prepare some good food or I can prepare some food for you. I can share my playlist, maybe some sad or happy stories of my life, my opinions, long discussions, usually optimistic mood and soooo many things.

And in case, that I have wine (and you love wine just like me), I can share my wine with you. Maybe.
