About Me

I love people. Traveling and making friends are my pleasures.
I'm a free spirited, rock n roll loving redhead.
I do what makes me happy and live one day at a time.
Had to choose "maybe accepting guests" because it's not up to me only; I live with my elderly mother and need to respect her privacy. Maybe someday I'll be able to convince her that having people over could Be an amazing experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a place to crash in San Francisco while I'm there, and couchsurfing seems to fit in with the experience I intend to have.

Interests

Traveling figures amongst the priorities I have in life. I like to breathe the city in, walk the streets, enjoy new flavors, meet new people, and I love comparing cultures, learning its History.
It's more about what you can find whilst there than what you'll find in a travel guide.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to mention, but rock and roll, a bit of pop, some groove, ballads here and there. I'm a singer, so I'll enjoy anything if I can put my voice to work.

I don't consider myself a movie buff, so I have no problem admitting that I watch a movie because of the cast. Great actors can make even lousy plots work. Netflix is one of my best friends though.

From Tolkien to Dan Brown, from bios to fanfics and religion-oriented, I'll read anything that catches my interest. I'm a little more inclined towards scifi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice, I've cried at Glencoe (Scotland), I've looked for the Loch Ness monster, I've been to castles and dungeons, I've been to amazing fan conventions in Vancouver, I've walked Capillano Bridge, I've seen the most amazing places, I've sung live, I've worked with amazing actors, I've been inspired by people (and hopefully inspired some), I've written songs, I've planted trees. I've been walking. And the party has just begun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all of the above.
I act, I sing, I help people learn what they couldn't otherwise if I have the chance and the knowledge (language barriers are the worst!), I'm good at telling the time, I can cook a mean yakissoba (Chinese noodles) and spring (egg) rolls. Throw in some Brazilian food cooking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My language (Portuguese), my makeup skills, my manicuring skills, my singing, some natural medicine (herbs and stuff), my witchy ways (energy cleansing, crystals, astrology, etc), my respect for all beliefs. Some cooking, some recipes.
Or I can be invisible, if that's what you'd prefer.
