My name is Vicki, I am 26years old and live just outside of London in the UK. I work in Procurement for a large IT company but am currently taking a long break from the real world to travel my way across Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South America!

I am a huge animal lover and enjoy the outdoors. Love sports and any outdoor / underwater activities. I am in a long term relationship with my lovely boyfriend Chris. I am not a huge party animal, but i love to socialise, enjoy good food and enjoy a few glasses of wine....or five! :-P

I'm a pretty easy going and respectful person that likes to travel the world, meet good people and make new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I'm new to this and only heard about surfing while on my travels through Asia - so now that I've landed in Australia - I've finally plucked up the courage to try it out! I'm Looking to take a break from the 'hostel' scene and also trying to save some money if i can. Happy to pay my thanks in wine, chocolate or flowers or whatever you prefer :-)

Love all types of music - literally everything - from Blues to House, classical to rock - I have a pretty random playlist.

Love reading - mainly thrillers / crime.

Big movie fan, like a good drama or thriller. The odd comedy or chick flick if im in the mood! Not much of a tv person but i am partial to a good documentary.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its hard to pick one thing but my most memorable would have to be working with Orangutans in Borneo - hard work but something I will treasure forever.
