Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always looking to explore new places and meet new people. In my current living situation I can't host, but hopefully I'll be able to in the future. For now I'm just hoping to meet people along my travels and meet up with travelers when they are in the area to show them around.

Music: My theory is that there is always a redeemable song/artist from each genre. I'm really into Pup, Vulfpeck, and Shura lately.
Movies: Children of Men, Heathers, Fight Club, etc forever.
Books: Southern gothic short stories (Flannery O'Connor, William Faulkner)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved halfway across the country by myself and it's been a really cool experience. I have since done this again!! I guess I have a tendency to pack up my things and move 1,000 miles every couple of years. Maybe one day I'll say no to adventure ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know tons about climate change and public health because that is my academic nerd stuff. I also know a lot about all different types of music and could talk about music for hours. I'm a curious person, so I'm eager to learn about your interests also.
