As a family we are all trying to work hard and find time to go camping.

ABOUT ME

Adam, Viva (7), Rocco (4) and I live in an old house near downtown Regina. We have both travelled a bit. I like to read, garden, and volunteer for stuff. My favourite colour is green and I love riding my bicycle.
Adam likes to play the piano and sing. He likes making (and eating) spicy food. We both like beer and chit-chat.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Adam and I have hosted several couch surfers over the last few years. We really like introducing people to Regina and helping them realize how excellent it is! We also surfed for our honeymoon in Montreal and New York. It made travelling way more affordable (couldn't have done it otherwise) and staying with locals is a way better way to get to know a place.

兴趣

Adam and I both like talking about politics, beer,and the politics of beer. We love making music (Adam plays the drums, piano and guitar). We like cooking and riding our bikes. Viva likes to dance, talk about Pokemon and colour. Rocco likes to play ninja and sing.

Vicki loves Canadian literature. Novels are my favourite, though non-fiction is growing on me.
Adam is an eclectic music lover. From Jay-Z to Joni Mitchell, all the greats line our shelves.

Vicki white water rafted down river from Victoria Falls and saw Sting play live at Circus Maximus in Rome. Adam caught amazing waves for months in Costa Rica and saw a ghost in a castle in Scotland. Rocco tobogganed down a hill by himself and coloured on the walls without getting busted. Viva has performed contemporary dance in front of hundreds of people and been to Hawaii.

Bannock (a Saskatchewan bread)
1 cup of flour
1 tsp of baking powder
a pinch of salt
mix this ingredients together. add water until you have a dough. mix, but dont knead too much. make small little dough patties. heat a pan with cooking oil (a decent amount) on medium high heat. fry dough until gloden brown on each side. eat with jam, peanut butter, cheese, whatever you like!
