ABOUT ME
I am a very opened minded person who loves to explore and learn about new cultures. I've spent 2 years living in Colombia and 8 months travelling around South America. I work as an English teacher online and a cocktail bartender while in Canada. Some things I love are live music (especially metal and rock), hiking, craft beer/cocktail bars, meeting new people and obviouslyyyy travel. I've been all over Latin America, South Africa, Greece, Turkey, Ireland, UK and Germany. I am currently backing through Europe for two months. Visiting my grandparent's hometowns in Italy and making my way to Porto for the Primavera music fest. I've always loved my experiences with Couchsurfing and am interested in meeting new people! I love to have fun, but am also content sharing a coffee and talking about life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy meeting new people from around the world while travelling. I usually travel slowly and without a tight schedule, so I can take my time in the places I like. I am always interested in new and unique experiences. My past hosts have always had the coolest insight about where I should go, usually places I would have never found on a travel blog or from other travellers. I also genuinely want to develop a greater understanding of the places I visit, and not just check tourist sights off a list. I love love love learning about people's stories and their world view. Help me expand my mind and I will do the same.
Interests
At home I do a lot of cycling, reading, drawing and camping. I also lived in downtown Toronto which had a great music and art scene.
While I'm travelling I take these with me, but I always up for new things in the places I'm in. I like touring cities by foot or bikes, hiking trails, trying local foods, hanging out in a beautiful park or beach, checking out the nightlife or having a night in meeting new people. I usually do anything from staying at a farm or going out in a big city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught English a summer camp in Greece on year which was an amazing experience. We had campers and coaches from all around the world. We lived right off the beach and made some lifelong friends from around the world.
