HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosted a couple of times. Mostly I've arranged to meet up wth people through CS, either for coffee, teching people to surf in Newquay, going to parties, concerts etc. I haven't yet hosted because my landlord isn't so keen on the idea :( When I finally have my own place my doors will be wide open to the couch surfing community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to couch surfing but from what I've experienced it's very positive! I have just returned from California where I spent 3 months doing an internship. I knew no one out there so couch surfing was an invaluable tool to help meet people and make friends.

I'm obsessed with anything Latin. I love spanish movies, I'm slightly in love with Penelope Cruz so anything that she's in I've seen. Books - I like to learn and read, anything about other cultures, especially anything by Gabriel Garcia Marques and Isabelle Allende.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

The more people you meet, the more you learn about the world we live in. I love learning about people's lives, different upbringings/careers/philosphies etc. as it opens your eyes to other ways of living and being. I would love for someone to help me learn Spanish more! I also really want to learn to skateboard! I can teach you ride some waves ;)
