ABOUT ME

I can be described as fun-loving, optimistic, creative, outgoing and friendly. I love spontaneity and I believe that sometimes, having no plan is a good plan!

I am pretty low-maintenance when it comes to my travel habits. However, I don't mind spending on good food. I try to avoid most tourist spots and instead prefer to head to locations that are far-flung or that depict the local culture.

During my free time, I would bake. I bake a range of pastries, from loaf cakes to cheesecakes, cupcakes and macarons. I run an online baking business and food blog because of my passion for baking. View my site here: http://www.vickiima.com

I enjoy food, and I believe that good food does not necessarily have to be expensive. I would queue up and travel for good food. I also love cooking and baking for others.

I love music and my music preference is rather varied. I enjoy indie music, electronic dance music, pop, instrumental and oldies. I love music with meaningful lyrics and catchy beats! I know how to play the piano and guitar.

I love animals, especially dogs, cats, sheep and horses. I have two pets, a Golden Retriever and Shih Tzu.

I hope to travel to more countries in Europe and America. I'd always love to return to Japan, as it's one of my favourite countries in the world.

I also want to learn new languages and skydive one day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing because I get to meet people and have meaningful conversations with them. They are able to introduce new perspectives to me. I also hope to share more about my country and should they ever visit, I would be most glad to bring them around. So far, I have couchsurfed once during my three-week stay in Paris and it was an amazing experience!

I enjoy meeting new people, travelling, having fun and good food. I enjoy capturing moments (both still and video) with my camera.
