About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the extraordinary in the ordinary
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Arizona but recently moved to Pittsburgh for graduate school (engineering, in case you were wondering). Part of the reason I decided to continue with my studies is because I really love the university environment and how I can still meet and get to know students who come from all sorts of different backgrounds.
After living briefly in Boston, I realized that I love city life, especially if subway systems and cultural arts centers are involved.
PHILOSOPHY
One thing that I'm most passionate about is continuing education - both formal and informal - I think it's important to have a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn more about the world around us - to pursue what interests you, and continue to discover new things
Something I heard from a wedding that always stuck with me:
"Forgive early, kiss slowly, love wholeheartedly, laugh loudly...because life may not be the party we all hope for.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love Pittsburgh's quirkiness and would be more than happy to share my take on the city. I would like to host at some point - I'm in the process of figuring out housing for the upcoming year right now...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned how to sail on the river and kayak on the open ocean when I was in Boston two summers ago. The whole sensation of being out on a boat, surrounded by nothing but the wind and the water, was absolutely thrilling, especially when considering that I was a desert-dwelling Arizonan native
