Overview
About Me
“Going always one step further” has always been my goal. I like challenging myself and that is why I moved to Norway two years ago. Whilst I cannot neglect my artistic sides (theatre and dancing), I have been focusing more on my leadership and organization skills with an emphasis on the Humanitarian field.
I am pursuing a career in the medical field with an interest in immunology and neuroscience!
Intercultural respect. Togetherness. Kindness.
From kidding about the Greek economic crisis to cooking tapas and discussing Brexit, I like enriching every community I become a part of.
Discipline, sharpness, vividness and intellectual curiosity.
Loud voice. Even louder laughter.
Nice to meet you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This community is based on the values I have been taught to spread in this world. Trust, respect, sharing and kindness :) It feels great to be part of it! The initial motive was my upcoming trip to Central Europe since, even though my friends are all over the world, there are very few in this area. So, using Couchsurfing for meeting nice people, sharing stories and laughing out loud seems a pretty great idea!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"At the beginning of our session, he told me that he had not been in the water for 40 years due to a traumatic experience he had when he was a child. While Parkinson’s was causing his trembling, it was the facial expressions and tensed muscles that indicated to me how uncomfortable he was feeling in the pool. Building trust and safety were central to my role in order to overcome his physical difficulties and overall fear. After 45 minutes of intense motivational exercises, he was able to calmly float with his head under water. Having been part of this progress whilst witnessing the pride in himself was deeply fulfilling for me since my knowledge and skills were purposefully utilized."
The aforementioned event was part of my two-year volunteering commitment at the Haugland Rehabilitation Centre. I loved helping people improve their confidence in the water!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories from my co-living with people from more than 90 countries can be the beginning of great discussions with my hosts! I, also, bake delicious banana bread, so I can share the secrets of the recipe or even prepare one yummy
I love sharing my super successful skiing experiences in Norway as a Greek city girl that had barely seen snow. My love for dancing and board games is also evident as I randomly teach people Bollywood or Salsa and always carry "UNO" with me. Along with my enthusiasm and smile, I am also sharing the Greek food that my mum will most likely have prepared for me. Yeah, I know Greek mothers are overprotective and quite annoying sometimes :/
