Hello everyone ^-^

I am Vicky (the blond girl 😉 ), I am a 35 years old from Germany and living with my wife Taia in Vernon (BC/Canada)

We met and got married in Canada and calling this our home now. Taia became Canadian citizen 2023 and I became PR 🇨🇦.

We like to cook (Taia is vegan and my diet is 98% plant based and very close to vegan) otherwise we love skiing, snowboarding, touring, hiking as well as reading and dancing if we find nice tunes.

Fun fact: Taia and I love to play beach soccer ⚽️

We travel the past year together to New Zealand and Europe for a work and holiday aka honeymoon adventure.

In February 2024 we visited Brazil 🇧🇷 to meet Taias beloved and missed family.

Was a big year for us 😀

Since we did wwoofing in NZ together we are keen to learn more about Permaculture and sustainable lifestyles. So, we are looking forward to meet like-minded people to share our experiences and thoughts.

We are this type of people who enjoying there time in nature, for a hike or hut stay, cooking our own food and watching the sunset. Little things make us very happy and we are happy to share more about our lifestyle and our journey

That's for now... hope I will bring Taia the beloved couchsurfing community and their spirit a bit closer because I used to travel through Asia, Canada and South America with help of our community here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling to other country's cause I think its the time where you get out of your comfort zone. You meet new people, learn new skills or a language.
I would say you miss the chance to experience unexpected things, which are often the greatest if you just stay in hotels. AND especially in this time we have to help each other even more, get together, exchange thoughts and how we can help to make the world a bit better.
