About Me
I've recently been introduced to couchsurfing and I can't wait to get more involved with this community.
I'm currently enjoying a "gap year", after graduating I worked and saved very hard for two years which how allowed me to take a year our of work to continue exploring the world. My travels have taken me through Europe, South East Asia and now to the States!
I'm not precious, any clean bed will do. I don't smoke, but I'm not offended by those who do. I do drink (sometimes I even share), I love to try new foods and I laugh a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel because I love to meet new people, experience new cultures and try the local foods - why else?! But couchsurfing offers me the opportunity to get to know my host, share our experiences and make the most of their local knowledge, things I just wouldn't get from staying in a hotel room on my own.
I'm not very static at the moment but I'm looking forward to opening my home to guests in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
An eclectic taste in music, anything from Foals to Frank Sinatra, Ed Sheeran to Etta James. It really depends on my mood. However podcasts and audio books are my best solo-travelling companion - they make time fly on a 17 hour bus journey, but you don't miss all the views!
I'll give any book a go if it comes with a good recommendation, but my kindle is full of the free ones...
As long as its not to scary, I'll watch nearly any movie. My favourite will always be Disney's original Jungle Book however.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I belong to an incredible charitable service organisation called Lions Clubs International (check them out). The work I get to be involved in through this is so rewarding in so many ways. Our efforts can make the biggest positive difference to individuals and communities all over the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook so if you're willing to give up your kitchen for an evening you can be the judge of whether I'm any good at it or not.
