About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover and understanding all the different cultures :)

ABOUT ME

I think it's pretty hard to describe myself, but I try :D
I was born and raised in Germany and spend all my life in a little village in a big family with 5 brothers. I always knew that living in a small village where everybody knows everybody and having everyday the same routine, isn't what I want forever. It was nice for growing up, but now I need more!
During the last few years I've spend most of my time studying for school and working as an educator in kindergartens and primary schools.
But immediately after finishing my high school I decided to go to another country.
And that is what I did!
So I lived in the USA and worked as an Au Pair in a really nice family, studied Chemistry and Microbiology and of course also traveled a lot here! An adventure after another!!
Now I'm back in Germany studying. But I think I won't be here for long, since I want to discover more of the world :)
So yeah, what else can I say about myself?
I think I'm pretty openminded and always laugh and see the bright sides of the life.
I have just one life, so I'm doing everything I can to enjoy it. I don't wanna miss anything fun!
I just do it :)

PHILOSOPHY

"“Goodbye, said the fox. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started couchsurfing in March 2013 in Florida. I've traveled to Miami and Key West with 2 other friends and we surfed on 3 different couches down there. We had an awesome time and it was an amazing experience to stay with citizens not in a hotel. I felt like being a citizens as well (just for a short time). But yes, I discover couchsurfing is the perfect way for me to travel around.
After this great experience I stated paricipate in the local Couchsurfing group in Philadelphia and joined many events there. The people there are all awesome. It was a great pleasure to meet all of them :)
But my best experience was when I travelled through America for 1 month from the westcoast to the eastcoast just doing couchsurfing the whole time. I met new people everyday and it was awesome :)

Interests

I love to travel around! :)
I try to visit as many places in the world as possible and I want to meet as many and as different people in the world as possible.
Travelling is so much fun, especially if you have friend who think the same. And if not you will find friends everywhere in the world!
All the different places and all the different people you meet, who tell you stories about their life and their experiences, their countries and their cultures, all that is just awesome and so much fun!!
I also love to take photos, which I can perfect combine with the travelling. With photographing I discovered to see the world in a different way. Colors getting more colorful, little things getting special and unique and everything gets just friendlier and happier through the lenses of my camera. :)
I'm also really interested in music. I played the keyboard in a Rockband for a couple of years and also tried myself playing the guitar (I wasn't really successful, but I still like it :P )
I think music brings people together! It is one of the strongest bonds between all human beings :)
