About Me

In January 2020 a friend and I are coming to Vancouver, we're going to buy/convert a van and drive to Mexico wahoo!!!

In the midst of a mid-twenties crisis I moved to Australia for a year - it was amazing! Though now I'm in the midst of a late-twenties crisis and have quit my corporate job and am planning to get out and see some more of this beautiful world!

I. Love. Adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Time is never wasted meeting someone new and the locals tell the story of a place better than anyone else.

Almost 10 years ago(!) now I had a great experience staying on a couch in Macau - and fell in love with the whole idea of it!

I hosted a few people when studying in Brighton- showing them the hotspots and helping out the fellow travelling community - I didn't really understand the concept of Couchsurfing until I did it and I'm ready to explore again.

Interests

Adventuring, trying something new, eating, drinking, skiing, sport, reading, learning new languages...I love meeting new people and trying to learn new things, I always say I am going to learn guitar and to surf...one day maybe...

Music, Movies, and Books

Shantaram used to be my absolute favourite but after re-reading I can’t say it cut through as much second time around - so all recommendations welcome!

Update: just finished “when breath becomes air”- so much food for thought on life and how to live it!

Currently reading: No Friend But The Mountains

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought and converted a van in Sydney and despite working full time in the city, spent every single weekend exploring a new beach/mountain/snorkel spot in NSW.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not the best cook, but my efforts can't be faulted
