About Me
Hi! I am Vicky from Taiwan.
I love adventures. I am easy going, and love to meet new people and listen to their stories.
I love aboriginal culture in every country and like their connection with mother nature.
I am an eco-friendly person and on my way to a Zero waste life. I always bring containers to restaurants if I take away food, and use reusable shopping bags instead of single use plastic bags. I am trying to eat less meat and more vegetable..... Because I saw how the ocean full of trash and plastics and want to do something to the environment.
When I was studying in university, I started to lead groups of volunteers to different countries(India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Outback China)to help with different projects.
Since I graduate from school, I never stayed at home and just travel and work in different countries.
I’ve worked in a waterpark as a life guard and played in all of the theme parks in Florida(Seaworld, Disney world, Universal studio, wetn wild...), processed salmon and had some good hikes and watched northern light in Alaska, road tripped from Seattle to LA.
Spent 2 years working holiday in Australia, with hunter and fisherman, spent most of my time in Arnhemland NT(aboriginal land) as a bar tender and went to Australia’s biggest aboriginal festival as a volunteer.
Learn to dive and learn to teach diving in Taiwan.
Worked in one of the best diving destination, Palau, as a diving instructor.
Went to Vipassana meditation
Recently I finished one month yoga training course in India. Still have a lot to learn and practice. Trying to practice yoga daily.
My current mission is to survive NewZealand for 1 year! Hope I can make friends with Maori people and learn some Maori language!
