Overview
About Me
My idea of paradise is a secondhand bookstore with a coffee shop. I text in full sentences using proper grammar. I’m either an outgoing introvert or a shy extrovert — I can’t decide. I have a head full of useless and random information. I laugh a little too hard. I love to bake and travel, but mostly I love to write. One of my life goals is to get a book published. It doesn’t have to be a bestseller; I just want a hot-off-the-press copy in my hands, none of this e-book nonsense. Oh, and I’m also Catholic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since studying abroad in Nantes two years ago, I've learned that the best way to explore a city is to meet locals. Though I can't accept any guests at the moment — I live in a closet-sized room in student housing — I would love to meet up for lunch or coffee or just take you around Compiègne.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My iTunes is a mixed bag. Each person will find something he/she likes, but will also find something that will make him/her say, "Why do you have THAT on here?!"
Movies: I will usually like anything historical or anything that takes place in a faraway place. I'm also a Disney buff. Some favorites: "Beauty and the Beast," "Moonrise Kingdom," "Spirited Away," "The Princess Bride," and many more.
Currently reading: "The Dragon's Eye" - Dugald A. Steer
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 years old, I performed in an Off-Off-Broadway show at the Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a perpetual student. I want to learn anything and everything!
As for teaching, I'd be happy to help you practice your English or French (I'm an English teacher, after all.) I also really love to cook, so I'd be happy to help you make something or to prepare an American recipe for you.
