About Me
Hey there!
Let us introduce us, our names are Victoire and Martin, we are 25 years old. As a couple for 2 years, we decided to create this Couchsurfing account together because it is together that we travel.
I (Victoire) worked in luxury catering after studying law for 6 years. I was born and raised in Paris and I know the capital like my pocket. I moved to Lyon for my studies and it was there that I met Martin. People say that I am a bubbly and endearing person. I'm always ready for new experiences.
I (Martin) also worked in luxury catering for several years. Before leaving France, I worked for the first japanese chef three stars Michelin: Key Kobayashi. I was born and raised in Lyon, my city of hearts, and the most beautiful city in France in my opinion. I am a very active person, I practice different sporting activities, like cycling and skiing. I will describe myself as someone who is determined and very curious.
Passionate about travel, we took the big decision to leave everything to go and live our dream of always: discover the world, meet others around the world, learn more about each culture. Travel authentic, travel true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is in this state of mind that we decided to register here, in order to meet interested people to share this adventure with us, to learn more about their country, their culture, their traditions. To build this trip with us.
The goal is sharing. A journey to the authentic is a journey where we share with others, with the locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Our favorite movie is without a doubt Forrest Gump!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our greatest adventure so far has been our cycladic backpacking trip in Greece. For 2 weeks, we traveled with very little and slept only on the beaches. We met welcoming people and discovered incredible landscapes. Despite the little comfort we had the luxury of waking up alone facing the sea every morning, and that is a luxury that is priceless.
Teach, Learn, Share
In addition to our good humor, we could bring you our French way of life, cook you small French dishes such as crepes, sauerkraut, quiche loraine, raclette or gratin dauphinois ... And much more! We could also teach you a few words of French or improve it if you already know how to speak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being simple people, these are simple moments that we want to share with our hosts, a meal, a beer (yes we really like beer and wine too, we are not French for nothing;)), a discussion, a ride, a card game ..Please note that we are unassailable players and we don't like to lose!
