An ENFJ personality type. Probably a little quirky. Loves boardgames, loves to visit museum, exhibitions and festivals.

Would love to read more than I currently can. Enjoy the non fiction stuff, because I am a student of human behaviour. One of my favourite hobbies is to "people watch".

I like to keep an open mind and understand other view points. Always welcome an intellectual debate. And of course, like most Singaporeans, I love to eat and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Experiencing different cultures is my favourite thing to do. When I was younger, I have hosted Thais and Taiwanese at my place before. Unfortunately, hosting is currently out until my new place is ready. I would still love to meet new people and show them around my beautiful country.

I strongly believe the locals know the best stuff! Often when I travel overseas, I have spent a couple of days with friends and experience the local festivities. These experiences are the best and I hope I can experience more with other couchsurfers.

Special experiences overseas:
- Spending a German Christmas with a German family (although I'm non-religious)
- Countdown to New Year's in Vienna while seeing fireworks sprout all over the city
- Finding a secluded pink beach in a secret corner in Indonesia
- Being pickpocketed in Rome (not a pleasant experience, but a unique one, especially since Singapore is so safe)
- (soon to be) Experience a western wedding despite my Asian roots

Interests

Boardgames. Nothing like a good mental exercise whereby I can orchestrate evil moves to screw other players. Other players are welcome to screw me too! :D

Museums and books. Just because knowledge is power!

Liverpool FC fan. Somehow, the club appealed to me at a very young age. I've been loyal ever since, despite the recent crappy seasons. (with the exception of Suarez-Sturridge godlike combi season)

Eat and cook. Good at following recipes and always like to try something new.

Travels. New experiences. I enjoy planning for my own trips. It gives me much satisfaction to do it.

Books:
Mitch Albom books, Thinking fast and slow, Freakonomics serires, Travel writing and History books

Movies:
Movies with unique plots and generally films that will more likely to appear in a film festival than a mainstream cinema. Still love some blockbusters like Interstellar and Inception though.

Music:
Mandopop... So that I can karaoke! Duet songs are beautiful.
Listen to some Pop, Jazz and Bossa Nova too. In general, I listen to a wide spectrum of music. As long as it's not too loud like heavy metal, I'm fine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing out of the insane. Does going sleep-less for 60 hours count? I can no longer do that though.
