Hey everyone! My name is Victor Froiman, I am a filmmaker from São Paulo, Brazil. Going to college in the US, I am currently taking a semester off from college interning in Tel Aviv. I am passionate about any form of artistic expression and, no matter what I do in life, I want to be learning a new language. I also love to party, whether it is with my friends or by myself, since every week of hard work deserves a weekend of dancing and a good time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Due to my international experience in college, I became friends with people from all over the world. With an open invitation for all of them to visit Brazil, they invited me back to their respective homes and, well... I took it very seriously. In the last 3 years, I've crashed in friends' couches in different cities in the USA, in Mexico, England, France, and Israel (not to mention the ones I have still yet to visit). On Couchsurfing, I expect to meet people and actually get something out of these encounters. I believe that meeting new places and exchanging life experiences with locals is extremely rewarding. It takes us out of our bubbles, and makes us more aware of the world we collectively live in.

I am actually really eclectic when it comes to music. My playlists go from Indie, Disco, and 80s to Broadway, Brazilian Funk, and hits from the 90s.

My top 4 favorite movies are "Y Tu Mamá También", "Call Me By Your Name", "Before Sunrise", and "Cameraperson".

I am currently reading "Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harari.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was actually a child actor in a movie as one of the lead characters when I was 12 years old (hahaha). It's called "Eu e Meu Guarda-Chuva," look it up!
