About Me

I'm a friendly Spanish guy who likes to meet people, have fun and start a new adventure thanks to Couchsurfing. Just sign here up from my trip in Southeast Asia which I hope it will me an amazing experience. I am very open-minded and always want to visit and discover new places, meet different people from other cultures or languages in order to learn from them. I do think traveling is one of the little things that you can pay to be richer but I would like not to need so, indeed I would love to find out locally how a country and culture is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am starting on Couchsurfing because after being traveling either on my own or accompanied by friends throughout hostels and guesthouse I wanna try a new way of traveling, locally.

Think global, act (travel) local. :)

So that's it, I arrived to Southeast Asia for some practices (first) and traveling; that second part of my trip includes myself and whatever Cambodia and Laos can offer me. If it doesn't work I will always have hostels no? I hope so

Interests

I think I got many but if you include a meeting with some beers they will raise exponentially.

Reading, traveling, meeting up, drinking beers, either wine (come to Spain to try some of the best ones), talking, talking and talking. I like medicine and that's why I study it but I prefer reading or talking about different stuff in order to disconnect from it. Culture, history, politics, economics, fantasy or society are among them but I'm quite easy going, I can adapt to anything else and I love learning about that topics I'm not on at all.

- Game of thrones: I've read the books and also watched the TV show, I'm a big fan of them.

- TV shows following at present: Mr. Robot, Peaky blinders, GoT and House.

- Movies: Nightcrawler, Law abiding citizen, Hotel Rwanda, The constant gardener, Into the wild, Spothlight, Judgment at Nurumber, The wave, Schindler list, Thanks you for smoking.

- I usually listen to music every day but just to entertain myself, what I like I pick it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing... Depends what you consider amazing but I'm right now in the bus writing bc we were really lucky. Bangkok is a mess/chaos but an organized one. We arrived just in time but the girls get lost, they couldn't make it on time due to their taxi driver, once he got lost, he started to fly off the handle and dropped them off 1Km away. Meanwhile, we were convincing the bus driver not to leave the station. Thankfully, they waited almost 20 minutes till they arrived and we all could leave together to Sukhothai and Chiang Mai for a 5 day trip.

- Amazing was the one month trip 4 friends and I had to the West coast of EEUU where we visit San Diego, San Francisco, L.A., Santa Monica, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Hollywood and many other places like Malibu or Venice beach while we were having medical practices in Pomona, Western Medical University of California. Once the clerkship was finished, we spent 7 days at NYCity, awesome experience, do you wanna know more about it?

- Amazing was also the time I spent on China, for an internship too. I visited Shanghai, I stayed for one month in Changsha, a non-touristic southern and spicy city and I finished my trip in Beijing. This time I was on my own and I could discover quite deeply the Chinese culture living with them day by day there.

-Amazing was also the Erasmus I had in Poland, such a great and friendly place where I spent 9 months, traveling among the country itself and Europe. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia... Ive loved the road trips we had upon that times.

- Amazing was also "El Camino de Santiago" (St. James Path), check about it, if you wanna visit Spain in a different way as usual, I really think this is the way to do it. Backpack, shoes and walking hours, people on your way and welcoming/cheap places to stay. Breathtaking sightseeings, many cosy towns to visit; little pieces of old history, ancient times.

- Amazing was a January night, when, while studying in the library with some veterans of my dorms, the "Mirandes F.C." a team from a little town close by, classified itself for the semifinals of the Kings Cup in Spain. I was studying my finals when my senior friend came and offered me about going partying there to celebrate the victory m. I thought about it for a second and said yes, this happens just once, so we left, for partying, in the middle of the final exams period to Miranda de Ebro were we had a spectacular night surrounded by Mirande's fans.
