To pursue sights and people that will make me tell stories for decades and make me want more everytime I remember of the trip - that is my mission.

ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Victor, I'm a 22 years old Brazilian who is studying in Europe for one year. That is huge for me, since I have never left my country; and I'm sure that, if you want a partner for a trip or a conversation or a drink or all of the above, I am your guy. You know why? Because I don't know everything, but I want to. Listen, learn and share - that's what I do. I want to visit places I have never been too, and know all about them. I want to meet people from different cultures and places, listen to their stories and tell my own. Anywhere is a great place when you are surrounded by people who make it worth it.

I am currently graduating in civil engineering. Let's be honest: who doesn't love great structures? The Eiffel Tower, the Tower of Pisa, the Big Ben, the incountable castles all around Europe - I wish I could visit them all. I hope you can help me on that!

I like to see thinks I have never seen before. From foods to music instruments, if you show me something new that is interesting enough you have my heart. New experiences and beautiful sights are things that one keeps forever.

In social situations, I am kind of a jack-of-all-trades: I like museums and board games, but also drinking and party. Singing and dancing are also fine, if you don't mind really lousy moves at first hahaha! If you like to talk, I am a great listener; start up a conversation, and we might either laughing as hell or going deep into serious subjects. If you have a hobby, tell me all about it. Who knows if it is not my hobby too?

I love cooking. Get me a list of ingredients and some cooking utensils, and expect it to be delicious. With the right amounts of ingredients, spices and cooking time, I can make you a majestic dinner. My father is the greatest cook I know, and this may be the first case ever known of genetically-obtained kitchen skills! I enjoy cooking more than eating; maybe that's why I'm so skinny. But since I've got to eat, I really like meat of any kind, pasta, cheese and sweets.

I aim to travel as much as I can and enhance my own life experience, yes; but leaving my marks into whoever makes part of this journey with me is also important. I want to be a good and unforgetful thing to people by my side as much as this whole trip will be for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Your actions are ruled by two questions: "do you think you were wrong?" and "did you harm anyone in any way?". If the answer for both questions is no, then you are right by all means. (Although answering yes to one or both of them doesn't automatically make you wrong)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Cleaning up after my own mess is not a problem. "When you leave, make it look like when you arrived". I help washing the dishes, tidying the bed/couch/wherever I sleep, anything I can help so that your house stays like it always was. I respect your house rules, time schedules and personal space - if you require your guests to follow it this way in your property, you have my word that I will obey.

Cooking, games, books, new places, interesting people. I want a collection of small items and pictures that I can put on my table and will remind me of all of the things I have experienced.

音乐、电影和书籍

The Shawshank Redemption is the best movie ever, period. The Pursuit of Happyness is also on the list, along with Into The Wild. As you see, I like movies that tell the personal struggle of somebody and how they overcome it, heh. I love comedies; throw Rowan Atkinson or Jim Carrey in the mix and make me laugh instantly. I like fiction - I'm currently watching The Walking Dead, Supernatural and the Avatar series, and finished House MD and Breaking Bad.
I like Dan Brown-esque books (Deception Point has one of the most beautifully described deaths I have ever read) and I have almost finished reading the whole Eragon, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl series. Somehow, I can't get myself to finish the Tolkien books :P
