Overview
About Me
I'm a 24yo Italian guy living in Denmark. I'm neither too researved nor too outgoing - I love getting to know people especially through in-depth conversations (I'm less versed in small talk) and do things together, but I'm also happy to do my own thing. I'm very LGBT friendly as I'm queer myself :)
I spent a few months in 2023 travelling in 8 different countries, I then settled in Malmö, Sweden for a year, and I have now moved to Copenhagen, Denmark.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Wherever I travel, I try not to be a tourist as much as possible; of course, I still usually want to see what's most well known in the place I'm travelling to, but ultimately I want to try and actually live it as much as I can. Staying with locals is, in my opinion, the best way to do that. Every single person I've met and experience I've had through couchsurfing has been amazing so far, I'm not going back!
I also find that human contact is terribly enriching, and the more the better. Getting to know people from different places is wonderful.
Interests
I'm interested in all things sci-tech, literature, the arts and philosophy, and I'm hoping to soon do research in human technological enhancement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Strolled around Rome for 2 and a half days in a row (yes, including the nights! 66 hours in total). I later went on to live in Rome for three years, but that's still the most interesting experience I had in the city!
I also spent a night walking around and enjoying a quiet London at night, and I watched it wake up from Regent's Park. Spending a night awake strolling around a city has in general become something of a tradition when I travel.
Camped in the Cairngorms national park in Scotland just a few days before Christmas, cold as hell and breathtakingly beautiful. Hiked on the Ben Nevis on Christmas Day with a pair of cheap broken-soled boots and no hiking equipment. Stopped 100m (in height) short of the peak because it was too dangerous with my lack of equipment, but one of my hiking mates that I met at the hostel asked me to keep one of the boots (and I said yes!), that he would put on his desk as motivation not to give up.
More to come...
Teach, Learn, Share
I absolutely love cooking, I've cooked mostly Korean food for almost four years and I'm now exploring Chinese food, they're both my favorites but I've experimented a lot and I can cook a decent italian pasta for you! I'm also always up for an interesting conversation :)
