Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because my friends recommended me to try couch surfing while I am studying abroad. Before coming to Europe, the only thing I heard a lot about the life of a typical study abroad student is sleeping in hostels. While hostels are great places for travelers to stay, I feel that couch surfing could provide a unique and profound experience for my time Europe. One of my friends who traveled by couch surfing said it was on of the best experiences she has had. She spoke highly of the great conversations she had with people she was staying with during her travels. I suppose I am hoping for a similar experience.

My favorite books include: The Harry Potter series, To Kill and Mockingbird, The Mayor of Casterbridge, and Frankenstein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Hiked 10 miles and camped in Havasupai, Arizona which is near the Grand Canyon
-Competed in Junior Olympics for volleyball
-Visited La Alhambra in Granada, Spain
-Visited La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain
