If you are going to send me a request, shoot me your story, why I should host you, and provide me with some social media (IG or FB) so I know you're normal person. I usually ask that we talk on Whatsapp or IG video chat before I agree to host because I want to understand who you are. If you agree with my thoughts send me a message. I will 90% reject requests that are copy and paste and you write me without reading my profile. Remember, I am not a hotel, I am not charity, don't send me a message that is asking me for my resources without understanding the purpose of Couchsurfing. I've hosted a number of people from all over the world. While I did have some not-so-great experiences, the good ones out weigh the bad so I will selectively continue to host. My philosophy for CS is to be able to learn from each other, culturally or travel-wise, while sharing experiences and knowledge.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm looking to travel to different places in the world and expose myself to different cultures. I was born in China and moved to the US when I was a kid. Growing up in American culture, I am fascinated by how different life is in other countries. I've traveled to Japan (2013), China (2014), Thailand (2017), Croatia/Slovenia (2018) and they were all eye opening experiences. I aim to travel to more countries and I hope I can meet some cool and interesting people on Couch Surfing to enhance my trips.

I am going to give hosting a chance so that in the future I can also try to CS in other countries I visit.
