ABOUT ME

my name is victori come from greece and have a thirst for knowledgei adore foreign cultures, especially languages and cuisinesi also adore eating, walking, indulging myself, observing, dreaming, drinking beer, reading, thinking, getting to know other people and runninghave run naked once. would probably do that againi am enthused over languages i dont understandi am even more enthused over understanding themi enjoy sports. doing them not watching themsometimes i like sitting around doing nothingsome others i try hard not toi used to fear spiders. now i just dislike them. sorry if you are into buddhism or something and i am somehow offending you with this statement. i just cannot feel any sympathy for these creatures.i consider my self a language freak..according to a czech proverb if you know only one language, you live only once. i want to live more!!i think i know english well enough. at least enough to keep on an amazing conversation, but not too deep and meaningful.. i am pretty shallow actually. there is however always room for improvement!that implies i would be glad to talk to you in english about anything - mental and spiritual things excepted! such things i keep to myself.my parents made me study german. they thought it was important for school and i was too young then to do otherwise. so i only had to learn to love this language. eventually i did! deshalb bin ich stolz darauf, sagen zu können: ich liebe einfach die deutsche Sprache! furthermore it's quite possible that germany will end up buying whole greece in order to 'solve' greece's current economic problems.. given that, i will be one step ahead! how foresightful of my parents!two years ago i took up running (400 & 800m.) i was so much enthused over it that i had dreamed of becoming a professional runner. they told me i was too old for that. i believed them so i had to find an other dream. i want now to become an austronaut! i read somewhere that a good knowledge of russian is an asset as it facilitates training at the cosmonaut centre in russia. and if that's not enouph to explain my interest in this language i might also add that russian is a must for arms dealers and the best language known to man for giving orders!!
For French I will use Barry Farber words:"No matter your other language achievement, you will be judged by your French".^^

as for the italian language...well..life's too f***ing short not to learn italianall the same greek is by far the most beautifull language of all! dont get me wrong here..there is a greek proverb saying "if you do not praise your own home, it will fall on you and squash you." :)my next goals are: learn russian, and then master it; learn to play the bouzouki; earn at last my diplomahey, please don't hesitate to contact me, as I'm an overly open-minded and liberal person constantly longing new experiences,however, I'm not searching for many friends, as I prefer getting to know someone deeply rather than superficially. Mind you, also, that you should go through my entire profile to have a gist of what I'm like before you'll go ahead trying to befriend me.
