ABOUT ME

I am a musician - composer and singer. I am a pretty calm dude, who loves meeting new people and getting to know them. I love laughing, specially when you don't even know what you are laughing about but you just keep doing it. I love visiting new places and try to absorb both the differences and the similarities. I try to learn something new everyday. And sometimes I forget what I've learned, so I have to be open. I try not to regret, cause I think it's a waist of time. What is done, is done. Instead, I try to look at my actions and let them make me a better person. I am learning to be patient. Specially with myself. I have been married twice. I am gay. That doesn't define me as a person, but some people seem to have "opinions" about it. I don't always understand it, but I respect differences.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have found a personal philosophy yet. I look back and I realized I have changed so much over the years, trying to realize what I am instead of what I want to be. I have opinions, but I know they are not the truth. They are just opinions. I guess this is my philosophy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience yet. My younger brother has lots of. He has a free and kind spirit. He is my brother, my friend and my heart. I learn a lot from and with him.

Interests

Music, movies, working out, yoga, dance... Anything goes. Everything that is real and sincere interests me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love art. Love movies. I like art that touches me somehow, that is kind or inconvenient. Love Radiohead, Bjork, contemporary music, pop music to dance and run, James Blake… Hard to summarize it.
I don't read as much as I want to. Comes and goes. But I do love words, poetry, unanswered questions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done lots of things. Lived in Mexico, lived in the US, came back home, don't know where I am going. I've met wonderful people. I've sang in operas and with bands. I've met people who broke my heart. And people who carried me home with a smile. I'm still a child at 37. The little things amaze me. Nature amazes me.
