About Me

In a quest to find my point of equilibrium in the world... I am an enthusiast of nature, be a dense forest or a crowded urban center, and I'm searching for ways to broaden my horizons every time. :)

I am usually quiet and casual, but that doesn't mean I don't like a really good party or going out with friends and family! Also, a very open-minded person; after all, the world itself is very different, and closing our eyes to reality prevents us from a lot of good experiences.

And last but not least, never forgeting this phrase: "Immerse your soul in love."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing mainly to host people from all around the world in Belo Horizonte! Right now, I am living in Pécs, Hungary, for a year. That's a new opportunity for me, since it is my first time abroad, and I hope to surf and get to know a lot of places in Europe. I've received people from France, Colombia, Norway, Malaysia and I'm expecting to visit those places this time! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I dig a bunch of rock genres and bands - Radiohead, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Cure, Green Day, The Beatles, Muse, Metallica -, latin and brazilian - Novos Baianos, Caetano Veloso, Perotá Chingó, Onda Vaga, Manu Chao, Los Hermanos.

I am extremely fond of Studio Ghibli's movies, like Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Mononoke Princess, Grave of the Fireflies. Other titles include Whiplash; Her; Into The Wild; documentaries like Virunga and Cowspiracy.

Dan Brown is a childhood favorite that I carried throughout the years; I also enjoy reading articles and pieces of thought in different areas, such as sociology, culture and economics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I reunited with my friends from University to organize the third edition of the National Encounter of Environmental Sciences Students, in Brazil. We have this moment to know all the other Environmental Sciences Students of the country and to organize ourselves, be in the Academy or the market.

We've come far and now we're preparing to participate in our National Congress in 2018, which will involve people from a lot of different areas.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play the guitar, share some recipes, knowledges and costumes about Brazil!
