About Me
- The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page -
Hello, everyone! My name is Victoria and I'm from Ukraine. I finished my bachelor degree in International Relations in 2015, and now I work as head of recruitment and selection at Teach For Ukraine, two-year leadership development program that attracts most talented Ukrainian graduates to teach in rural communities and drive local changes during two years. Previously, I worked as project manager at Kyiv Post, Ukrainian English-language newspaper. In 2016 I also had a chance to intern at Canada's House of Commons.
Since I've met lots of wonderful people during my exchange semester in Wroclaw (Poland), they are now all scattered in differents corners of the world. Whenever there is a chance to meet them, I book my tickets and pack the suitcase. That's why I decided to try couchserfing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When travelling, I'm usually up at 7-8, because you cannot sleep all day when there are so many interesting places to see outside, so after I have a coffee I will explore your city. I'm not very demanding of where to stay, I just need a clean place where I can safely spend a night and leave my luggage when outside. I'm up for talks over coffee and I promise a souvenir from Ukraine for those who host me :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - jazz, latin, classic. I should confess I have this guilty pleasure - Spanish cheesy songs like 'Bailando', but if you don't like it I promise to listen to it only when wearing my earplugs :)
Movies - just too many of them!
Books - start with "The Movable Feast" and go to all Remarque's novels.
