Hey!! I'm Victoria, a native Queens, New Yorker with a lot of pride for it. I got addicted to travel back in 2012 with a trip to China: I don't know if it was the history or the culture shock but something made me feel alive and I have been finding ways to escape ever since; and I've been really lucky. I've gone to 5/7 continents and have no intention of stopping. There's still a lot I want to see and so many people I hope to meet in the process. I come from a big latin family, the oldest of four and I am currently a student at NYU.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing about a year ago from a friend of mine. I was skeptic but soon I'll be getting my own place and hopefully let couchsurfing become a reality. I've lived with a host family before and I think this could be an awesome opportunity to meet new friends.

I did the W trek in Patagonia- begrudgingly, but good for bragging rights

I don't know if I have many skills but I can help with Spanish and I am always open to learning and helping with new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Coming from NYC, it's unusual to be open to strangers but I'm trying to change that and on every trip I've done, I've always gone alone and made new friends. I just want to enjoy company and I love doing things, even if sometimes I need to be given a little push. I'm excited to try something different. I'm not too perky that I'll annoy you and I'm not a Debbie downer, I don't do drugs and I don't drink heavily.
