Hello! My name is Victoria I live in Crawfordsville, Indiana with my dog, Monster. I am a Ball State University grad with a degree in Magazine Journalism.

I started traveling overseas after accepting a short notice invite from my friends. In under 18 hours I was packed, passport in hand sitting on my first puddle jumper to England.

Since then I have traveled to 11 different countries and worked several entertaining jobs, my favorite being at a climbing wall. I have also developed my blog vjfairfield.wordpress.com in the hopes of sharing travel stories.

My hope is to meet new friends from around the world with couch surfing ☺

Well, one travel story that never seems to get old happened when I was in Budapest, Hungary two years ago on my class trip. Our innocent visit to the Parliament building ended with a trip to the police station as I was abruptly reminded I had left my baton in my backpack (my bad!).
