I am a 22 year old female living in Ireland for a year with my 24 year old boyfriend. We both just graduated from college and decided to take a year to live in his family holiday home in Cavan to travel before going back to the US to find "real jobs."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing so I can meet new people around the world and be able to experience new cities and towns on our tight budget. We also would love to host people and show them around Cavan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love sassy young reads like "White Girl Problems" and "Psychos" by Babe Walker. "Nice is Just a Place In France" by The Betches is another amazing read. I also enjoy self help book that will better me. My favorite is "Skinny Bitch". The Maze runner series is also an read you just can't put down. I'll listen to just about any type of music, country being my favorite. I'm not much of a movie or TV girl. I think it's a waste of time sitting in front of the television when you could be doing something productive but if I had to chose I'd say my favorite shows that I've Netflix bindged would be Orange is The New Black, Breaking Bad, Greys Anatomy, anything involving Anthony Bourdain and Keeping Up With the Kardashians. As far as movies go I'd have to say I'm a comedy girl - Dumb & Dumber and We are the Millers will always be my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is live in an orphanage in Kenya for a month one summer during college. An incredible, eye opening, humbling experience!
