Hi there! I’m a world traveler, coffee enthusiast, wannabe botanist, and a practicing polyglot. (I’m currently learning Korean and improving my Chinese.)

I like to laugh, actually I LOVE to laugh and I laugh a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn about life and my deeper self by way of meeting others and exploring new things. Adventure. Sharing stories. I am in the pursuit of experiences.

Interests

-Languages. Currently learning Korean and trying to improve my Chinese. When I travel it is important to me that I try to communicate in the language of the country I’m in.
-Religion & spirituality and philosophy.
-FOOD! (especially the science and culture behind fermented foods).
-Music, I have never excelled at any instrument but I love learning, listening and communicating through music, after all it’s another language. (Let’s exchange playlists)
-Nature, I think there is much to be learned by observing the natural world.
-Coffee, I’m a bit of a coffee geek. I worked in the specialty coffee industry for years and LOVED every moment of it. Now I always travel with brewing equipment and a hand grinder.
-Teaching. I was an English teacher for a few years and now I give skype lessons.
-Art. Colors, textures, stories, history... Art can be found in every aspect of life.
-Motorcycles. I haven’t spent nearly enough time riding. Goal for 2020 (Purchase a bike)
