Hi, my name is Victoria and I’m French. I am traveling around South America for 3 months with my friend Victor.
I am a 23-year-old-student. I love travelling and discovering new places especially by walking around the city and trekking.
What I like the most when I am at home is reading, watching movies and listening to music. I love going out, most of the time I go out to listen to music and dance in clubs but I also like to have a drink or just hang around with my friends.
It is my first time in South America. I don’t speak Spanish yet but I am determined to learn it during these few months.

Hi, I'm Victor. I'm French too and I'm 22 years old.
I'm currently studying entrepreneurship and social innovation. I love trying new food, going out and playing sports.
One reason why I love travelling is that I really like meeting new people and discover different cultures. Mainly because I believe we all have so much to learn from each other.
I've never been to South America and I'm looking forward to being there! I've heard so many good things about it.
I do speak Spanish, and I'm sure Victoria will soon be perfectly fluent :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly for two reasons:
> We love meeting new people. We'd like to learn a lot from you, as we'd be very happy to have you learn a lot from us :)
> We believe that the best way to discover a country & feel the atmosphere is to meet local people, understand them, live as they live, eat as they eat, have fun as they have fun etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Victor:
I like very different kind of music, from Techno to Jazz or House. I'm very curious to know more about South American music, as I recently discovered Marcos Valle and fell in love with his music.
My favorite film directors are Woody Allen, Tarantino. One of the recent film I liked a lot is "The Lobster" from Yorgos Lanthimos.
I don't read a lot, but my favorite book is "The Man Who Planted Trees" from Jean Giono.

Victoria :
I am very keen on listening to music, I am fond of techno music. I also like rock music a lot (Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Johnny Cash). I listen to african music from time to time, I would be delighted to discover some South American rhythms
I love watching movies. I don't really like American blockbusters, I prefer French new wave movies or movies from other countries such as Almodovar's (big fan!), Innaritu's or Van Sant's
I read a lot, mostly books from the XXth. I love sharing about literature!
