About Me

Hello All,

I love to travel but as the real world kicks in I have to be smarter about my spending so I am always looking for deals, traveling during low peak seasons, and now using COUCHSURFING. One of the greatest things about traveling is meeting great people who become long-lasting friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel aboard I usually stay in hostels if not with friends. Within the states I use to use Hotwire for cheap hotels. Someone then introduced me to Airbnb.com and I stated using that website no matter where I went because I could feel more like a local in the area I was visiting as opposed to a tourist. At first i thought it was a bit sketchy staying in random strangers homes but man do I praise that website now! Then someone introduced me to couchsurfing.com which I out of habit thought was sketchy and it being free just added to the skepticism but I'd try anything once so here I am...I don't have a bad feeling about it so thats a good sign :)

Interests

I am an Artist. Drawing and Painting are my passions but graphic design pays the bills, quite well I might add. Again, I love travel. I usually travel to see particular artworks in person but I also travel to meet friends I've met in past travels. I am all about experiences, I love snowboarding, ice skating, indoor rock climbing, bowling and obstacle races.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all genres of music but the top three are Alt rock, 90s and early millennia R&B, and Christian Gospel (random I know)

I will read almost anything recommended to me. I once read an article on msn.com about 7 books I should read before they become movies and I've recently read 4 of the 7: "Hectors Pursuit of Happiness", "Before I go to Sleep", "This is Where I Leave You", and "And Then They Came for Me."

I also read "Letters to a Young Poet" by Rainer Rilke as least once a year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of the highest mountain in the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share lots of laughs but I have terrible jokes, you wouldn't want them :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, France, Greece, Spain, United States Minor Outlying Islands

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
