I couldn't host people because I'm traveling in New Zealand.

I'm 26 years old, easy going girl (that's what people said about me). I'm the 2nd of a family of six children. I'm an independant woman who loves traveling alone to meet new people. After my studies (social work), I decided to travel a year in Canada. This year was probably one of the best in my life. I couldn't forget what I learned during this journey. I met so many beautiful people. We share great times together and did good memories.
After two years in Belgium, I decided to follow the advice from my Canadian friends : "If you like Canada, go to New Zealand". It's never too late, so here I am. I left my job, my awesome family and my friends to visit NZ. I start my travel like au pair to be with local people (in a farm with 4 children). After seven weeks in the family, I left and I went 10 days in a retreat Centre (yoga, health,...) to do a work exchange (work for accommodation and food) : one of my favorite place in NZ ! In North of Auckland, in the middle of the bush... Being with the nature ! Perfect time !
After a time to travel in North, I went in South to start working to save money for my next travel. But after a while, I decided to change and came back to the best way to travel : "work exchange". I stayed three weeks in Takaka (this amazing town with the best vibe ever). My host was amazing, it's a new home. So, I did a full tank of energy and I was ready to travel in South. So guys, I'm coming with my smile and my motivation to discover who you are and how is life in your amazing country !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I tried couchsurfing during my journey in Canada. It was AWESOME. I join this concept. I think that's the best way to meet people from the country that I'm visiting.

Interests

Learning English (this international language). With this I could meet new people and communicate with them. It could be really helpful in my futur job with refugiees or around the world. Next language that I would like to learn : ....spanish... Oh yeah man ! Even listen to this language make me dancing !
My family is one of my hobby. I'm very close of them and we have great time together. I really enjoy the simple things like that !
My job... Once I will be back in Belgium, I would like to find a really great job in the social. I felt in love with these morning when you have to wake up to go to work with the smile !

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have favorite music. In French, we say : "eclectique"... I like to listen to a lot of kind of music. I would like to say it depends of my mood... I couldn't imagine my life without music! I love reading (more true stories). Curently, I try to read English books to improve my English !

Going in some villages in Benin (Africa) to play with children.
Bungee jumping in France (Gorges du Verdon) with amazing landscape.
Traveling across Canada (from Quebec to Yukon).
Working like a social worker.
Doing my first SkyDive in Queenstown.
Hitchhiking in Canada and in New Zealand.
