While at Chico State I ended up spending a year studying abroad in Tübingen, Germany. I absolutely fell in love with travel and discovered my passion for study abroad. Now I'm dedicating my life to helping as many people study abroad and see the world as I possibly can. I love meeting new people from all over the world and hearing their stories as well as learning about new cultures. I strongly believe travel is essential to education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet internationals, attend events, and possibly stay at another hosts place. At the moment I can't host anyone because I'm either living with my parents or traveling the world but the second I settle that would change.

Interests

I'm extremely passionate about study abroad and how international education betters a person. I'm also pretty into craft beer, I worked at a brewery for a while so I would consider myself pretty knowledgeable on the subject. I love animals and volunteer at animal shelters/rescues whenever I have the chance. I'm very active and love sports like tennis, snowboarding, mountain biking, and more. Pretty open to new sporty adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music except for country. Aggressive EDM for cardio, indie rock for relaxing, rock for when I want to be in a good mood. I love music festivals. I watch movies but am not that into them. I love reading, especially horror. Stephen King is my typical go to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed up my entire life and moved to a new country of which I know nothing including the language. Three times.

I can teach German and English. I have my TEFL certification. I could also talk for ages about study abroad and help you find your perfect program if you're a student. I would love to learn guitar or a new language. Let's share a beer.
